One of the reasons why you might need a quick house sale is when you are emigrating. If you have to leave at very short notice say as the result of a new job then being able to sell your home fast would be ideal. However when looking for a quick sale and getting cash for your house in the process, it often takes a great deal of time just to get the home valued and listed with an estate agent. If time is of the essence this is not the way to go when selling.

You could look into what a sell to rent back company would offer. They would offer cash for my house, give me a quick sale and cash in hand to walk away with. While I could take the rent back option if my new home wasnt ready and the day of departure was a couple of months away, I could also just sell and walk away.

By doing so I would have peace of mind that I had made a sale and would have the cash in the bank to go towards my new life in my new home.
